Oral GIIb/IIIa Receptor Blockade to Inhibit Thrombosis (ORBIT) Study
- Volunteered time to this ongoing study during medical school clinical years. Nationwide collaborative study evaluating the efficacy/safety of a new platelet inhibitor (Xemilofiban) in angina /AMI patients who had recent coronary revascularization.
Interviewed & enrolled patients, administered questionnaires, conducted follow-up health status questioning.

Seroprevalence of HIV in Pregnant Women in Grenada, W.I. Their Knowledge of the Virus, and Their Behavior and Exposure Risks to the Virus. World Health Organization (WHO) Regional Publ. -Principle Investigator and Biomedical Lab Technician, WINDREF Research Institute/St. George’s U. School of Medicine . Performed ELISA and Western Blot confirmation tests on plasma samples of 540 pregnant women in Grenada W.I. and surrounding affiliated islands, administered behavior/exposure risk questionnaires, and performed statistical analysis and data correlation.
